Message Quality

  • Always review: Never send without reviewing the AI-generated message
  • Personalize further: Add specific details about the candidate’s experience or projects
  • Keep it concise: LinkedIn messages work best when they’re brief but personal
  • Test different approaches: Try different tones and lengths to see what works

Organization

  • Create lists early: Start organizing candidates from day one
  • Use descriptive names: Name your lists and targets clearly
  • Regular cleanup: Remove inactive candidates and update lists monthly
  • Tag candidates: Use tags for quick filtering and organization

LinkedIn Automation Best Practices

  • Follow LinkedIn guidelines: Respect messaging limits and rules
  • Quality over quantity: Focus on highly qualified candidates
  • Track responses: Monitor which messages and targets perform best
  • Build relationships: Don’t just send messages, engage with candidates

Common First-Day Mistakes

Avoid These Pitfalls

  1. Generic messages: Don’t rely solely on AI without personalization
  2. Spam-like behavior: Don’t send too many messages too quickly
  3. Ignoring LinkedIn rules: Follow LinkedIn’s messaging guidelines and limits
  4. Poor organization: Don’t neglect to organize your prospects
  5. Unrealistic targets: Don’t create targets that are too restrictive

Quality Over Quantity

  • Start with 5-10 high-quality messages per day
  • Focus on candidates who closely match your targets
  • Build relationships, don’t just send messages
  • Track your response rates and adjust accordingly
