Get up and running with Ozzi.ai in minutes! This guide will walk you through installing the Chrome extension and starting your first AI-powered LinkedIn recruiting campaign.

What is Ozzi.ai?

Ozzi.ai is an AI-powered LinkedIn automation tool designed specifically for tech recruiters and talent sourcers. It analyzes LinkedIn profiles and generates personalized outreach messages based on your job requirements, helping you build candidate pipelines faster and more effectively.

System Requirements

• Browser: Google Chrome (version 88 or higher)
• LinkedIn Account: Active LinkedIn account with recruiter access
• Internet: Stable internet connection
• Permissions: Ability to install Chrome extensions

Important: Your Ozzi.ai account is tied to your LinkedIn profile, so you must be logged into LinkedIn in Chrome for the extension to work.

Step 1: Install the Chrome Extension

Download from Chrome Web Store

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Visit the Ozzi.ai Chrome Web Store page
3. Click the Add to Chrome button
4. In the confirmation popup, click Add extension

Pin the Extension for Easy Access

1. Click the puzzle piece icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Find “Ozzi.ai” in the extensions list
3. Click the pin icon next to it
4. The Ozzi.ai icon will now appear in your toolbar for quick access

Step 2: Connect to LinkedIn

Ozzi.ai works directly within LinkedIn, so you need to be logged in:

1. Go to linkedin.com
2. Log in with your recruiter account
3. Keep LinkedIn open while using Ozzi.ai

Step 3: Open the Ozzi.ai Side Panel

1. Click the Ozzi.ai icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. The side panel will open on the right side of your browser
3. Click Get Started to begin the setup process
4. Grant necessary permissions when prompted

This side panel is your command center for all Ozzi.ai features.

Step 4: Create Your First Target

A target defines your ideal candidate profile. This is crucial for generating personalized messages:

1. Click Create Target in the side panel
2. Fill in the job requirements:
   • Job Title: Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Lead
   • Required Skills: React, TypeScript, JavaScript
   • Experience Level: 5+ years
   • Location: San Francisco, CA
   • Company Size: 50-1000 employees
3. Configure message preferences (tone, length, focus areas)
4. Save your target

Step 5: Start Recruiting on LinkedIn

1. Navigate to LinkedIn and search for candidates
2. Open candidate profiles that match your target
3. Ozzi.ai will automatically analyze the profile
4. Click the Ozzi.ai icon in LinkedIn’s message popup
5. Select your target and review the AI-generated message
6. Send personalized outreach with one click

Step 6: Create Your First List

Organize your prospects for better pipeline management:

1. In the Ozzi.ai side panel, click the Lists tab
2. Click Create New List
3. Name your list (e.g., “Senior Frontend Engineers - Q1 2024”)
4. Add candidates as you browse LinkedIn profiles

Verifying Everything Works

To ensure everything is set up correctly:

1. Go to LinkedIn.com and log in
2. Click the Ozzi.ai extension icon
3. You should see the side panel open with the Ozzi.ai interface
4. Try creating a target and generating a message

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Extension Not Appearing

• Refresh your Chrome browser
• Check if the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions/
• Ensure you’re using a supported Chrome version

Permission Issues

• Go to chrome://extensions/
• Find Ozzi.ai and click Details
• Ensure all permissions are granted
• Try removing and reinstalling the extension

LinkedIn Integration Problems

• Make sure you’re logged into LinkedIn
• Check that you’re on the LinkedIn website
• Try refreshing the LinkedIn page
